New Haven High School
Leo took the field by storm and scored within the first few minutes and found a rhythm. Leo had 24 shots, 14 were saved by senior Emily Bricker, and 8 total found the back of the net. The first half of the game the Bulldogs couldn’t quite find their groove and it looked similar to a kickball game until the final 10 minutes when the defense got in alignment and got the team moving. The second half New Haven had possession of the ball with 10 shots on goal. Seniors Gabby Shuler and Courtney Shaffer each had 4 shots on goal and fellow senior Ashia Howard followed with 2. New Haven continues to work to improve and is focusing on the positive play that happened in the second half.
